Blue Friday …..

It seems that I still have enough time to set my ‘SMILEY’ and do other things in my lovely country, since I got a ‘not-so-good’ news from my dearest friend in Germany.

I asked him to ask the "Auslaenderamt" in Bayreuth  about my visa and yesterday, friday 30th December 2005, he told me that the ‘Auslaenderamt’ in Bayreuth dont receive my documents yet …. so I have to call (again) Botschaft in Jakarta for sending my documents to Bayreuth by fax.

these past 4 weeks I always called Botschaft to ask about my visa, but they just said that I have to wait to be informed by them, but of course I dont listen to them, and do my new regularly activity everyday ‘to call them’ - next monday seems to be very long …… it is actually, next monday is already 2006, and now it is still 2005 …. hehehe lucu :(

crying doesnt solve the problem, so I guess I have to finish all things need to be finished here …
and yesterday .. or today early morning I tried a new software for billing system, it’s called easy cafe, from turkey .. well not so good as the one from antamedia … but we’ll see …

there are already 2 customers using this billing system …
we’ll se if my mom could handle the software :)

The ring of my handphone woke me up at 00.00 My time (read: Jakarta), someone far away called me to congratulate me for entering the 35th years - well …it reminds me that I’m entering an age, where normally a woman already settled, having family and having a regular activities :)

Am I sad because I dont belong to these women?
well … actually nope - not really, I’m enjoying my life now …
I like kids so much and I was hoping to have my own kids someday, but now I’m thinking differently,
coz’ there are a lot of kids in  the world need to be take care of ….
I think I’ve already choosen the right way, to help others to take care their kids in my way :)

I was asleep again until around 07.00, then my mom sang a ‘birthday song’ to me when I was in stair heading to my warnet. She said that my dad was waiting for me before he went to golf, so we decided to ‘push the candle’ later when he came.

My plan today was actually to set-up the warnet, so I can reduce the loss :)
So I started to open all computers and trying to install billing system and CBQ things …
I still couldnt manage the SQUID thing :((  coz my clients just lost connection when I use SQUID …
hmm … but with CBQ, I think I could reduce loss we had right now …

My first customer came at 07.30, actually I wasn’t ready at all, but she was in hurry and she need
the Internet connection desperately, so I told her ok ….
well our warnet is also open upon request :) 
on 25th December it was also opened and there were many customer there … :)

The first customer only used the internet for downloading files :(( huaahhhh 
I used ADSL from Telkom and they dont offer ‘Unlimited connection’ anymore, so I use 2 GB/mo and it already cost me around 850.000, and on 15th December it was already over limit, coz my customers like to download anything….. and I still dont have any rule for my warnet …
so these past months we are in ‘loss’  - although we have many customers but we have also consumes many bytes :(( huaaahhhh

In Indonesia it’s really expensive to get connected :(
there is other possibility to connect to internet, which is through Kabel-vision, but they dont reach my area yet, so I have to satisfied with ADSL ……

anyway we got the KVM switch and my brother already installed it in my server - so we have 2 servers: windows and linux :-) 

Actually after the first customer back home, I was planned to close warnet awhile to install the billing system, but then came my loyal customers — (read: arab surabaya) — he loved Totti so much
he downloaded all things about Totti (football player from Italy) - films, pictures and so on ….
I’ve already made CD for him, since download took so long and of course expensive (thru ADSl) so I made the CD from downloading with MATRIX - unfortunately I couldnt do that anymore, because MATRIX now changing their rules too … there is no ‘unlimited internet use’ in matrix :((
it cost me 15 Rp/ 1 kb … ouch ouch

and I’ve heard that soon bandwidth will have a tax ….. ouch!!

Sometime I’m sad to be the one who always complaining about everything …
although noooo … not always ….
I really gratefull for the creator, which already gave me a very good life, giving me a chance to see the world, to have a very nice and loving family and colleagues, to be someone meaningful to my friends, to have nice and naughty students, who can also ‘manchmal’ be my friends.

I was a bit surprised, when I knew there were many of my friends read my last blog … wow ….

ah ja … back to my plan for warnet … after 2 hours digging on the net, the loyal customers back home and I installed a new billing system (it is only a trial version) …. the billing system is from antamedia …. it’s a nice billing system, not really heavy … so I would like to try it ..

but before installing we had a very nice lunch

after lunch - I back again to install the billing system - then came the other customer, who always also loyal to us … the one who download games … again ouch!! he has difficulties to save the games with my new installed billing system .. and since it’s trial, after 60 minutes it reboot the server and so the client …. huahhhhhh :((

then I reinstalled billing system in all clients again …
while I was installing and reinstalling there were lot of calls from my friends, my colleagues…
one of them asked me whether I would like to go with him to play badminton …
well actually I need sport so much .. since it’s been a week I didnt play badminton, so I said to him
I’ll thought about it …

waehrenddessen … I possesed to badminton, so I asked everybody at home to play with me at home .. begin with Novi, then my mom, but the place was inadequate, so it was useless…

then I told my mom that I would give her a job to finish all report for the end of this month - but she has to input all datas from her book to the computer .. so before I leave to play badminton, I teached her how to enter all information to the computer using calc from redhat ;)

around  17.00 I was heading to my house which is rented by someone who would take me to badminton, he showed me his business in my house (it is located in Gempol), …. ouch he made my bathroom as a store room … well it’s clean but there were so many things…. machine things … he did service and selling machine and spare parts …. he told me that his business is really good :)  I’m happy for him, because in January my parents will get the rent for him, since it’s difficult for me to send money from Germany , so I told him that he can rent the house monthly, but he pay it directly to my parents….

we were heading to the place where we played badminton at 17:15, there were around 8 men .. I was the only girl there .. well it’s not strange for me coz’ in pelatnas (PBSI) I was also the only girl who play badminton …

I was partnered with erwan, the one who rent my house, and we won 2 sets ;) kewl….
The play ended at 20.00, then I went home,  having my dinner, then checking my mom’s works :) — after that I began to chat and answering some emails :)

and then blogging ….
that’s it today … on my B’day …
I still have to do gym, take a bath, thinking bout future … then sleep….
until then … chatting dulu ahhh …

well one year ago in this time, I was in Germany, being picked up by my dearest friend and we celebrated christmas - my birthday together with my other friends…

actually I should leave again on 26 december, but since my workingspermitvisa not finish yet, I should stay in Jakarta until it finish, so probably on 12 January I’ll fly to Frankfurt then go to Bayreuth, my new  workplace :)

today our warnet got a new device, called KVM Switch, so we could have 2 servers, windows and linux, of course as usual I should install it by myself … it’s ok and fun, hopefully I could finish everything before I leave home …

There are so much to do but there are not so much time to accomplish all I wish …
hmm… it’s 09.17 pm already, and I’m still chatting with my friend **sensored** in Germany … he will go to his parents soon ….

I’ll turn off the computers in warnet and soon go to my ‘zimmer’ to see DVD I bought about three days ago … today our warnet got only Rp 51000,- well it’s ok since we have to close it for awhile because of installing the new KVM Switch …

Btw before I forgot, yesterday I have a visit from an old friend from junior high school … he is so different… well I wish him luck for his life, since it seems he got a hard life back then ..

it’s time to see my DVD now ….
